A blue jay who was unable to fly was presented by a good samaritan after being found on the ground. There was a cat nearby. Upon physical exam, it was noted that the bird was a fledgling and that the left rear leg was bruised and abnormally positioned. He also has an audible click upon inspiration. What would you suspect from the physical exam?
